SAVE Workshop in Mozambique

SAVE Hosts a Workshop in Mozambique

The SAVE Travel Alliance hosted a workshop in Mozambique from March 1-2, 2010 with the support of USAID and in partnership with INATUR, WWF and Nathan Associates. During the two days, workshop participants discussed the potential for SAVE travel to develop the capacity of local institutions while building infrastructure for future tourism and revitalizing the local economy. 

Presentations were made by SAVE Travel Alliance staff and partners representing a range of stakeholders in Mozambique.

 

 
WAVES for Development

WAVES for Development is an affiliation of nonprofits that use surfing to make the world a better place. We connect surfing and sustainable development through Educational Surf programs that develop youth into healthy and empowered adults and Adventure Voluntourism programs that engage travelers and transform their world views.
