WAVES for Development is an affiliation of nonprofits that use surfing to make the world a better place. We connect surfing and sustainable development through Educational Surf programs that develop youth into healthy and empowered adults and Adventure Voluntourism programs that engage travelers and transform their world views. Our community-based educational programs promote: healthy living / life skills, environmental conservation, social entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism.

WAVES for Development International is in the process of obtaining 501c3 status to educate, promote and support current WAVES programs in Peru.

Together with their international partners ORDEX offers a wide variety of programmes: language courses abroad, work and travel, internships, volunteer programmes, and tourism activities for Ecuadorians and foreigners. Ordex's mission is to provide a valuable and memorable experience to their participants, which will enable them to become world citizens and influence positively worldwide.

The Global Volunteer Network (GVN) is a private, Non Government Organization (NGO) based in Wellington, New Zealand with a vision is to connect people with communities in need.  GVN accomplished this by supporting the work of local community organizations in countries through the placement of international volunteers.  At GVN we align with the idea of 'local solutions to local problems', so we work with local community organizations in each country.  We believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their needs, and we provide volunteers to help them achieve their goals.

ELI is a registered non-profit organization, founded in 2001, that partners with organizations from around the world that make a difference in their communities.  ELI works closely with these groups to ensure volunteers get meaningful experiences at reasonable prices. Experiential Learning International believes that the most compelling life lessons come through experience, and that international experiences are among the most profound influences on our sense of self and our view of the world.  ELI sees learning as a lifelong journey: our programs are not limited to students, and we welcome participants 18 and older of all nationalities.

PAT is a Founding Partner of the Oceania Sustainable Tourism Alliance (www.oceaniatourismalliance. net) and active in a number of regional Asia Pacific and global sustainable tourism initiatives.
